Kristin Olafson joins Karo as our newest project manager in Calgary. She comes to us from the Alberta Medical Association (AMA). As the project coordinator, she managed communications on sensitive topics for both the AMA and the Canadian Medical Association.
Kristin got her first taste of the business with an internship at Ogilvy & Mather in Singapore, where she grew up. There, along with the usual intern duties, she conducted research for Nike and worked on an award-winning guerilla marketing campaign that saw her trying to convince smokers to quit. The smokers didn’t love it but the award panels did.
Not only has Karo gained a crackerjack project manager in Kristin, we’ve snagged a talented singer. She’s also worked with autistic children and is a self-professed workout fiend.
Kristin’s enthusiasm and passion for the business are infectious, and we welcome her to the tribe.
