With the road to the summer Olympics largely paved with politics and controversy, we didn't want to lose sight of the fact that the games are supposed to be about excellence, perseverance, dedication and the human spirit. All things we strongly believe in. With that in mind we are proud to announce we have reached out by adopting an athlete through the Canadian Athletes Now Fund. Karo's donation will go directly to support Robert Weitemeyer of the Men's 4's Rowing Team, and were all very excited to be able to cheer Rob and his teammates on in their quest for gold in Beijing. Now more than ever our athletes need our support, to this end Karo would like to encourage all Canadians to get involved and show their true colours by joining in the $8 for 08/08/08 campaign goal of having one million Canadians each donate $8 to raise needed funds for our athletes. Let's remember what the true Olympic spirit is all about. Go Canada Go!
